Mulnayak : Idol of Shri Adeshwar Bhagwan also known as Rishabhdev Bhagwan and (Adinath Bhagawan), in Padmasan pose serene and beautiful, white in colour

Location : This Tirthasthan is located at six kilometer from palitana village which is on the bank of river shatrunji.

Add : The name of this Tirthasthan is derived from the name of the river

Historical Background: According to Jain mythology this tirthasthan is most sacred tirth as out of the present 24 tirthankars, 23 had visited this tirth. In ancient time this was known as Pundrik Giri. In mythology this holy place has 108 names. This tirthasthan has been renovated many times. In this abasarpini kal it is renovated 16 times.

According to Jain mythology many souls have attained Siddhapada here. Always hundreds of saints come to this place. Thousands of devotees visit this place to take benifit of puja and fulfill their wishes. Everyday hundreds of devotees come to this place because of it, this place looks like a Mela. Many devotees who have undertaken varshitap(Years fast) come here on Akshay Trutiya for their parna(Breaking of fast).

There are many temples from pallitana village to Talhati. This place is full of artistic work and natural beauty.Before embarking on the climb from Talhati village, Pilgrims have to visit Shree Mahavirswamiji Temple and 108 idols of Shree Parswanath Bhagawan.Temple walls are engraved with present 24 Tirthankars and 20 tirthankars of Mahavideh Kshetra.A pilgrim has to climb 3126 steps to reach the main temple of Shree Rishavdev Bhagawanji, For the aged Doli facility is available from Talhati village itself. On one side of the hill flows Shatrunji River and on the backside of the hill are Gatipaye,which the pilgrim has to visit on his way back.At Gatipaye footprints of Shri Rishavdev Bhagawanji are there. This tirth is guarded by kapadri yaksha.

How to Reach: Nearest railway station to reach the pilgrimage is Palitana which is 48 k.m. from Bhavnagar and 29 k.m from Sihor. Direct Trains are available from Ahmedabad to Palitana. Village is 1.6 k.m from station

Facilities Available: There are many Dharmasalas and Bhojanalayas available for the piligrim at Palitana and Talhati village
