Mulnayak : Shri Nakoda Parswanath Bhagwan, Black in color, 58cm height Location : This holy place is situated 1 k.m. from Mewadnagar and 10 k.m. from Balotara Railway station in the forest. Historical background : It is told that Nakoda's ancient name was Birampur. It is said that 3 centuries before two brothers Shri Birsen and Shri Nakorsen developed two villages Birampur and Nakornagar and built two temples of Shri Chandraprabh Bhagwan and Shri Suparshwa Bhagwan respectively. Param Pujya Shri Sthulibhadra Swamiji insttaled the Idol. Thereafter many kings and Acharyas had visited this place. Then part of this temple was destroyed by Muslim invaders. It was again rebuilt in 1429 Vikram Samvat. Now there are 3 temples at this place. In the main temple Shri Bharabji Bhagwan Idol is there. Thousands of piligrims visits this plack to seek blessing of Shri Bhairabji for fulfillment of wishes. In the nearby hills Dadawadi is situated, where footprints of Tirthankars are located.
