Historical background : This pilgrimage is of Shri Neminath Bhagwans time. In ancient time this was a prosperous Jain city. This city was unknown for many centuries. Muni Shri Punnya Vijayji got some knowldge from "Vingyapti triveni Granth". He got more information from Acharya Shri Vijayballabha Suriswarji and found out this pilgrim place. This city came into light again in sambat 1947, in the year sambat 1990 one Jirnadwar was also constructed.

This place is full of greenery, snow bounded peaks, river and streams. Virgin forest sorrounded by snow peak mountain makes this place extreamely beautiful.
