Location : On sea sore in Pravashpatan village. Somnath Temple is 400 meter from here.

This tirthstan was built by Shri Adinath Prabhus son Shri Bharat Chakrabarti. It is told that when Bharat Chakrabarti was

overwhelmed by the advise of Shri Adishwar Parbhu he rescued Shri Siddhachalji. At that time he was residing on the bank of Brahmi river (Sarswati) and it was time of Prayan. Shri Somyash Kumar son of Shri Bahubaliji was staying with him and got the opportunity to see many saints taking severe penance. Those saints told him that they are doing this penance because they have heard from Shri Dharnendra Dev that this place is full of holiness and 8th future tirthankar Shri Chandraprabh Bhagwans Samvasaran will take place here. Somyash Kumar told all the things to the Bharat Chakrabarti. Bharat Chakrabarti built a city here and constructed a temple. This place was known as Devpattan, Patan, Somnath, Pravash, Chandrapravas in ancient times. This tirth is mentioned
in Jain agamgranth "Bruhat Kalpasutra". In Mohammed Ghaznis time and there after in the Muslim rule this tirth was destroyed. Jagat Guru Vijayhir Surishwarjis shisya Vijaysensuriji installed anjanshalak here for 5th time in Bikram Sambastar 1666. In Bikram Sambastar 1876 Vijayjinedrasuriji advised to built Jinadwar. The last Jinadwar was built in Bikram Sambastar 2008 by Acharya Shri Chandra Sagarsuriji.

Veraval railway station is 5 Km. from here and buses are available to the temple. Bus stand is only 100 m away from the temple. It is connected by Pucca road. Dharmasalas and Bhojansalas are available here.
