Bhagwan, Choumukhi, white in color, in Padmasan Pose. Location : This beautiful temple is located on the bank of river Maghai, sorrounded by small hills of Aravli mountain. Historical background : Historical importance of this pilgrim place is quite powerful. Credit for building of this pilgrim place goes to "Yug Pradhan Acharya Shri Somsunder Surishwarji".Inspired by him, Minister of Shri Ranakumbha, Shri Dhanna Shahs heart was filled of religious consciousness. He started giving gifts and went on pilgrimages. When he was visiting Shri Satrunjay tirth idea of building a temple of Shri adishwar Bhagwan came to his mind. One day he dreamt of Nalini Gulmdev Biman. Then he started discussing with different artist and sculpturist and ask them to furnish the likely temple map. Shri Dhanna Shahs decided to build the temple according to plan of Shri Deepa Kalakar. This temple was built in the year Bikram Sambastar 9416. It is told this temple was built by 2500 artist and 63 years of effort. When one visits this temple which is sourrunded by natural beauty one forgets oneself and feels as if he is in heaven. This temple has four doors and three manjil at each manjil chowmukhi pratima is installed. This temple is full of sculptural work when you will get down in the temple you will find khirni-briksha where Adishwar Bhagwan foot print is present. In this temple two Nar-mada Ghant weighing 250 kilo each is there. From this Ghant "om" sound is generated which is heard of upto 6 km. Here lot of ancient statues are kept in basement floor of the temple. Temple of Shri Parshwanath Bhagwan, Shri Neminath Bhagwan and Surya Bhagwan is locted here.This is a main place of Godwal panch tirth. Here modern accomodation facilities are avaliable. Bhojanalaya also avaliable here. How to reach : From Udayapur this place is 100 km. away. If one travels via Nathdwara marg it is 150 km. but other tirths like Naghad, Dilwara and Rajnagar comes in the way. This tirth is 9 km. from Saddi village. |
