Location : It is located near the National highway in the state of Gujurat. Historical Background : According to the avaliable literature this city was developed before Bikram Sambastar there are 15 temples in the city. The most ancient and tallest temple is of Shri Manmohan Parshwanath Bhagwan. There are lot of schools where Jain scholars studies about Jain religion among them most notable school is Shri Yashovijay Sanskrit School. Shri Simandhar Swami Jain temple was built in this century in the year Bikram Sambastar 2028 out of Shri Kailash Sagar Suriswarjis inspiration. According to the Jain mythology Shri Simandhar Swami got Kevalgyan here then he is wandering in Purva Mahavidah Kshetra till today. How to Reach : It is loacted near the National highway. There are many Bhojanalayas avaliable here for fooding purpose. |
