Previous Birth

Situated on the banks of river Sita,in Vatsa,in suseema city of Jambudweep Mahavideh kshetra,Chakra vorty,VimalVaahan,lived a life of self control.He sacrified all his luxuries & pleasures,crowned his son as the king,and became a muni & later on a tirthankar.

Birth of tirthankar

Prince Ajit nath was taking shape in the womb of maharani,when maharani Vijaya Devi had a vision of 14 dreams.Being overjoyed,Maharani revealed her dreams to the king Jeet shatru.Same night,king Jeet shatrus younger brother,yuvraj Sumitras wife Vyjayanti,too had the same 14 dreams.Experts opined that one was destined to become a tirthankar & the other a chakravorti.On the midnight of maha Sud Aatham,prince was born of Maharani Vijaya Devi.There was great rejoicing in the kingdom.All the Devas came along with Indra.All the prisoners were set free.

Naming Ceremony

Since Maharaja Jeet shatru's enemies had Surrendered,besides Maharani Vijaya Devi had started winning chousad game against Maharaja,ever since the pregnancy.The son of Sumitra was named Sagar.

Marriage & kingdom:-

Gradually,Ajit Nath & Sagar grew up as soon as they crossed the threshold of teenage & stepped in to their young age they were married according to the family customs & traditions.Once maharaj Jeet shatru thought that,now it was time for him to retire & entrust the responsibility of kingdom to his younger brother,Yuvaraj Sumitra.But sumitra denied this oppurtunity & chose the path of diksha,tapasya & Sadhana.Ajitnath was crowned king & Jeet shatru & Sumitra,took the path of Diksha.

Diksha advice:-

After 71 lakh years,Ajitnath also decided to follow the path of his father.He entrusted his kingdom to Sagar and took diksha.After severe penances and tapasyas and Sadhnas he attained Nirvan at Summet Shikhar.
