Previous Birth:-

In the east of Mahavideh,of Dhatki Khund dweep,there was a city named Suseema,Where king Aparajit ruled,though Aparjit was a chakravorti,his heart was of a saint.on getting the right oppurtunity,he turned his attention towards dharma & religion.

Birth:-

in the Bharat kshetra of Jambudweep,in the city of Kaushambi,king Dhar ruled with his maharani Suseema. Maharani Suseema dreamt 14 auspicious dreams,while preqnant,these 14 dreams were very auspicious,as the prince,yet to be born was destined to be a Tirthankar.On Aaso Vud Baaras,at midnight,maharani delivered a prince amidst great rejoicing & celebrations.

Naming Ceremony:-

King Dhar was of the opinion that when maharani was pregnant,she always wished to sleep on the bed of lotus ,besides the delicate body of the prince was like lotus so,he was named "Padma Prabhu"

Matrimony & kingdom:-

As soon as prince Padma prabhu,became young,he was married & crowned as the king & king Dhar after entrusting responsibility to his son,retired for penance & meditation.

Diksha:-

On Aaso Vud teres Padma prabhu acepted Diksha.He removed all his ornaments,did louch vidhi & sadhnas.

Nirvan:-

Sacrificing food & water for a month,Bhagwan Padma prabhu attained Nirvan on Summet Shikhar.
